Let’s do a quick self-assessment:
Is your fear of failure overwhelming?
Are you quickly irritated or frustrated whenever something doesn’t go as expected?
Is your stress or anxiety causing you physical discomfort? (i.e. aches, pains, upset stomach)

Online anxiety therapy for individuals in Maryland
When you’re traveling or commuting to a different state, it can be challenging to stick with an therapy provider, even when it’s on online.
Did you know in order to meet with a therapist online, you need to physically be in a state where they are licensed?
With me, you have the flexibility to travel while continuing to work together.
I am able to offer online therapy in various states. However, I choose to focus on working with residents of states where I am familiar with the culture: Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
If you live in Maryland, but work in Delaware, we can conduct our sessions in either state.
Do you have a work trip in Nevada? We can still work together on your schedule.
As long as you are physically in a PSYPACT participating state, we can work together.
I’m a native Delawarean who has spent a lot of time in Maryland: vacations in Ocean City, visiting friends in Harford and Baltimore County, and going out in the Inner Harbor. I’m even a Ravens fan.
Are you a Maryland commuter or resident in need of help for your anxiety?
Stay consistent in your treatment with a therapist who is licensed in treat you where you work and where you live.

If we both feel comfortable, we’ll move on to the next step.
-

In our initial meeting, we’ll discuss the big picture of your goals and concerns. This will help us get an idea of how to move forward in our time together. We’ll discuss next steps and get you on your way to living the life you want.
-
Step Three
Here is where the transformations happen. We will focus on specific areas and skills in our sessions and empower you to move forward without your anxiety holding you back.
FAQs About Online Anxiety Therapy with Me
-
We will meet online either weekly or every other week depending on your needs and goals.
During our 50-55 minutes together, I will guide our conversations to help identify key sources of your anxiety and stress.
We’ll discuss coping strategies that may work best for you and we might even practice some together.
Our sessions are tailored to you and your healing. I see you as the expert on yourself and we will collaborate on how to best help you achieve your goals and get you to where you want to be.
-
While one of my focuses is relationship issues, I only offer individual therapy. That means, it’s just you and me during our time together.
While I understand that some people may want to have another person there with them, I view this as a time for you to speak freely without fear of judgement or feeling guilty for your thoughts, struggles, and emotions.
Our sessions are all about you, your struggles, and your goals.
In some cases, family or couples therapy is a better fit for relationship issues. Finding a therapist who specializes in that type of therapy may be more beneficial for you and your situation.
-
My fee for a typical 50-55 minute session is $165. Sessions are paid at the time they occur.

No, I do not accept insurance. I am considered an “out-of-network” provider. I can provide you with a Superbill that you can give your insurance company for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.
-
A Superbill is a document you can provide to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. The document has information they’ll need, including a diagnosis, session code, and all of my professional information they require (ex. NPI, address, etc).
-
There are several reasons I don’t accept insurance.
First, I feel I can provide better care to my clients when my time is spent working clinically vs. administratively.
Second, I opt to maximize client confidentiality, which can be compromised with insurance companies.
When your insurance pays for your treatment, they can demand access to records or require a diagnosis in order to pay for or approve ongoing treatment. This information then becomes part of your medical record.
